Entity Hero Release Notes 1.18

Summary

This release introduces new capabilities and enhancements across Bulk Manual Case Creation, Non-Customer investigations, Reports, Entity Manager Search, CRR review and history, Entity Profile Logs, and Upload History. The changes are focused on simplifying investigation workflows, improving search and reporting, strengthening audit visibility, and providing greater flexibility in CRR and entity management.

New Features

1. Bulk Manual Case Creation for Customers & Non-Customers

Users can now create multiple Manual Cases through an Excel upload instead of creating each case individually.

  • Customer & Non-Customer uploads: Create Manual Cases in bulk for existing Customers as well as Non-Customers using dedicated templates.
  • Multiple Hits: Add multiple Hits against the same Manual Case by extending the Hit structure within the upload file.
  • Case workflows: Supports existing Close and Investigate workflows for bulk-created cases.
  • Hit outcomes: Supports applicable Hit outcomes against individual Hits.
  • Upload validations: Files and individual records are validated before processing, with clear error reporting for failed records.
  • Partial success: Valid records continue processing even when other records in the same upload fail.
2. Reports Module & CRR Change Report

A new Reports module, accessible from Entity Hero’s left navigation, provides a centralized place to generate MIS reports, track report requests, and request custom reports.

  • Report Library: Browse available reports, view their details, and generate CSV reports for a selected date and time range through the Publish Report modal.
  • Email delivery: Receive generated reports by email, with confirmation when a report-generation request is submitted.
  • Report History: Track previous report requests and their generation statuses.
  • Request Reports: Submit requests for new or custom reports, attach supporting files, and track progress using a unique Custom Report Request ID.
  • CRR Change MIS Report: Review customer risk-rating changes for a selected period, including previous and latest CRR, risk levels, triggered node, date, and timestamp.

Enhancements

1. Manual Case Creation for Non-Customers

Manual Case Creation now supports subjects who are not existing Entity Hero customers, allowing investigations to begin even when limited customer information is available.

  • Non-Customer cases: Create Manual Cases for prospective customers, counterparties, third parties, and other external subjects.
  • Flexible subject details: Entity Type, Reference ID, and Subject Name can be captured where available and remain optional.
  • Linked entity creation: A corresponding inactive Portfolio entity is automatically created with the Non-Customer tag and CRR displayed as “-”.
  • Temporary Customer ID: Where a Reference ID is provided, it can also be used as the temporary Customer ID.
  • Customer conversion: Non-Customers can later be converted into customers through the existing Single Entity Creation flow while retaining the same Entity ID and Manual Case linkage.
2. Entity Manager Search Enhancements

Entity Manager now offers more ways to find Individual and Organization entities using information you already have.

  • New search options: Select Identifier, Mobile Number, or Email from the existing Search By dropdown.
  • Search across all identifiers: Find entities using any associated identifier without selecting its type.
  • Mobile Number search: Locate entities using stored mobile numbers and applicable number formatting.
  • Email search: Find entities using a complete or partial email address.
  • Project-wide results: Search the entire project across all pages, with all matching entities displayed using existing pagination.
  • Works with existing filters: Search results respect applied Entity Manager filters, and clearing the search retains those filters.
3. Entity Outcome History Enhancements

Entity Outcome History now provides a more complete view of an entity’s CRR journey across its lifecycle.

  • Onboarding & Portfolio history: View CRR records from both stages together, while retaining Onboarding history after the entity moves to Portfolio.
  • Mathematical & Logical CRR: Both CRR types are retained, with every Logical CRR update stored as a separate historical record.
  • Historical visibility: Each record identifies the applicable Entity Stage, CRR Type, Risk Level, and Framework Version.
  • Filters: Filter history by Entity Stage, Risk Level, and CRR Type, including multiple filters together.
  • Excel download: Download the entity’s complete CRR history with stage, score, risk level, CRR type, framework version, and modification details.
4. Entity Profile Logs Enhancements

The Logs table now makes it easier to find changes, customize the view, and download an entity’s audit history.

  • Advanced filters: Filter by Section, Action, User, Date range, and IP Address, with applied filters shown as removable chips.
  • Flexible sorting: Sort applicable columns across the complete result set, with the latest logs displayed first by default.
  • Column configuration: Show or hide configurable columns and restore the default view when required.
  • Readable change history: Change summaries highlight field names and old/new values, while longer notes can be expanded or collapsed.
  • CSV download: Download the entity’s audit history directly, with full note text and columns based on the selected column configuration.
  • Latest field names: Renamed data fields now display their latest configured name across Logs, historical entries, exports, search, and applicable filters while preserving the original audit values.
5. Configurable CRR Change Approval

Projects can now automatically approve recalculated CRR changes or retain the existing manual review process.

  • Project-level configuration: Configure CRR Change Review as Manual Review or Auto-Approve.
  • Automatic approval: When enabled, recalculated CRR changes automatically become the entity’s current CRR without moving the entity into Review.
  • Manual review: Projects configured for Manual Review continue to route CRR changes for approval or rejection.
  • Existing projects: Existing projects continue with Manual Review unless the configuration is explicitly changed.
6. Upload History Sync Visibility

Upload History now provides visibility into whether each batch has been transmitted to downstream applications.

  • Downstream status columns: Added PreScreening.io and Transact Comply columns after the existing Status column.
  • Clear transmission status: Each downstream application displays Sent or Not sent for the batch.
  • Faster tracking: Users can identify batches awaiting downstream synchronization directly from Upload History without opening individual batch records.
