We are looking for an Assistant Manager, who will be responsible for managing various Data Asset projects, product development initiatives, teams and solutions
Job Requirements
- Manage and lead, Data Asset products, projects, application development and other organizational initiatives
- Manage multiple priorities, engagements, interactions and client relationships at any given time
- Carry out research, analysis, R&D and testing initiatives, as required
- Support marketing, business development, hiring, training and other non-core initiatives
- Ensure adherence of team or resources to company guidelines, best practices and standards on an ongoing basis
- Be the first point of discussion, support, reference and communication for your team or resources
- Determine and define project scope and objectives for current, future or ongoing initiatives
- Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner
- Contribute or manage budgets, planning, projections and operational plans
- Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan
- Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress
- Manage contracts and engagements with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables
- Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution
- Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement
- Contribute, positively and extensively towards building the organizational reputation, brand and operational excellence
Background of the candidate
- 4-7 years of experience in operations, program management, process development or consulting
- Experience to multiple technologies, project management tools and research methodologies
- Proven ability to solve problems creatively and having excellent analytical skills
- Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle
- Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful
- Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline
- Consulting background in domains like risk, advisory, operations, process development or audit is preferred
- Experience in managing operations, conducting online research, reporting writing and process development
- Familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices
- Demonstratable leadership, team management and crisis handling abilities
- Good language, communication and writing skills in English
- Good understanding and / or experience in managing social media, SEO, online and digital marketing
- Experience with coding languages such as Python, C#, HTML and Java will be considered a positive
- Expertise in using tools like MS Office, PowerPoint, Excel and Word
- Must be an avid reader, with the experience of reading across genres, types, styles etc. over many years
- MBA or Masters from a reputed college or university
